What’s old is new again. Just ask Huey Lewis , who was at the Bank of America Pavilion Wednesday playing his 1983 record, “Sports.” (Missed it? Lewis and his band, the News, will do it all again Friday at the Cape Cod Melody Tent.) Say what you want about the record — and we’ve heard some harsh comments from our hipster co-workers — it sold 7 million copies, garnered two Grammy nominations, and spawned five top 10 hits, including “The Heart of Rock and Roll,” “Heart and Soul,” “If This Is It,” and “I Want a New Drug.” Before the show, Lewis did a meet-and-greet with fans outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and posed for a few photos with a vintage 1983 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham . . . . Actor Robert Duvall, 82, in town filming “The Judge” with Robert Downey Jr., dined at Scampo the other night.
