Bill Hader talks of getting fogged in on the Vineyard

Seth Meyers’s Martha’s Vineyard wedding festivities apparently lasted longer than they were supposed to. Meyers’s former “Saturday Night Live” costar Bill Hader appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this week and told the late-night host that many of Meyers’s actor friends were stranded on the Vineyard after the wedding because it wasn’t safe to fly out. “All of us kept getting fogged in. It was like every morning at the Martha’s Vineyard airport — it was like the entire cast of ‘SNL,’ ” said Hader, who’s promoting his movie “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2.” “Tuesday we go and our flight got canceled again.” Hader made it back to New York on Wednesday just in time for his Kimmel appearance. Guests at Meyers’s wedding to Alexi Ashe included Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, and Jason Sudeikis.
Hader said he was happy to go back to Edgartown’s Hob Knob hotel to wait out the weather and eat scones.
