Classic cars will cover Boston Common

At this point, the closest any of us will ever come to Clara Bow is her car, a 1929 Rolls-Royce, which will be on Boston Common Sunday as part of the Boston Cup Classic Car Show. Keep an eye out also for Reggie Jackson’s VW Beetle, the original Batmobile, and a muscle car — a 1971 Dodge Challenger convertible — owned by former Patriots’ lineman Matt Light (right). The three-time Super Bowl champ will be there to present the Boston Cup trophy to the owner of the sweetest ride.

Tonight’s the night

“Been dancing my face off in rehearsals for the choreographer’s # in the @PrimetimeEmmys. I’ve such crazy respect for these dancers. Unreal.” —Neil Patrick Harris, Sunday night’s Emmys host, on Twitter.
