BOND at the Langham Boston hosted the official kick-off party for Boston Fashion Week on Friday night. The week’s founder, Jay Calderin, welcomed a pack of models, designers, and consumers to the venue for the celebration. Local designer Carlos Villamil (above), who’s interested in “zero waste” fashion and sustainable design, partied with Janelle Kennedy (left) and Laura Bravo, who modeled dresses from his line. Designer Tatiana Tejedor attended the festivities with her pal Vanessa Levy, who wore one of Tejedor’s multicolored ensembles. Also in attendance were designers Candice Wu and Luke Aaron, and former “Baywatch” star Traci Bingham. Fashion Week events run through Oct. 5.
