He’s no dummy: Jim Carrey pals with Patriots

David Goldman/Associated Press

Actor Jim Carrey, who’s in Atlanta filming a sequel to “Dumb and Dumber” with Rhode Island directors Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly, was one of the celebs at the Patriots-Falcons game on Sunday night. Carrey (left) didn’t sport any Pats gear, but he seemed friendly with the team, including running back LeGarrette Blount . Carrey’s “Dumb” costar Jeff Daniels was also at the Georgia Dome and tweeted on Monday, “Thanks to Mr. Bob Kraft & Co. for their hospitality at last night’s Pats-Falcons game. #NFL” The Hollywood Reporter reported on Friday that Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence will have a cameo in the second “Dumb and Dumber” film, which is being called “Dumb and Dumber To.”
