‘90210’ stars reunite

Former ‘‘Beverly Hills, 90210’’ stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling are reuniting. The actresses will costar and executive produce the new ABC Family series ‘‘Mystery Girls.’’ Spelling and Garth will play Holly and Charlie, former costars of a popular ’90s crime-solving series. Spelling’s Holly opens a detective agency and persuades Charlie, now a suburban mom, to help. (AP)

Swift to perform at CMAs

Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, and most of the major nominees have signed on to perform at the Country Music Association Awards next month. Swift and Aldean were among the first round of performers announced Monday for the Nov. 6 show in Nashville. Top nominee Swift is one of four entertainer of the year nominees who will perform, along with Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Blake Shelton. (AP)

Sean Penn is ecstatic that his relief organization will sponsor runners from Haiti to participate in the New York City Marathon next month. ‘‘We’ve got five Haitian runners, 10 runners total, running for the team representing Haiti and our organization J/P HRO coming to the New York City Marathon — the marathon.
