People.com reported Wednesday that the Jonas Brothers have canceled their fall tour because of a “deep rift within the band.” “There was a big disagreement over their music direction,” Jonas spokesperson Jesse Derris told the website. On Thursday, Live Nation confirmed that Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas’s local gig at the Orpheum next Friday is, in fact, off the books. “Due to extenuating circumstances, the Jonas Brothers have cancelled their upcoming tour dates,” the company’s media alert said. “The band would like to apologize to its fans for any inconvenience. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.”
