It appears the Donnie Wahlberg-Jenny McCarthy romance is still going strong. The 44-year-old New Kid on the Block and the 40-year-old former Playboy Playmate were snapped by the shutterbugs as they arrived — holding hands and wearing what look like matching glasses — at Los Angeles International Airport over the weekend. In a recent interview with People.com, McCarthy said Wahlberg has the right stuff: “If every relationship leads you to the next person and it leads you to what you want and what you don’t want, I feel like I deserve great and he’s great.” The pair began dating last summer after meeting on the set of McCarthy’s VH1 show, “The Jenny McCarthy Show.” Wahlberg has been a familiar face on our TV of late. In addition to his starring role on CBS’s “Blue Bloods,” the singer-actor’s commercial for FiOS, Verizon’s cable television and Internet service, has been in heavy rotation during the Major League Baseball playoffs. Titled “Here’s the Truth About FiOS in Massachusetts,” the ad shows Donnie standing in front of the Hancock Tower, Trinity Church, and in Charlestown near the Bunker Hill Monument. But the ad is misleading because FiOS isn’t actually available in Boston.
