Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt lunch on Newbury

“Mad Men” actor Jon Hamm and his girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt, took in the sights and sounds of Newbury Street Monday afternoon, enjoying lunch on the patio of Sonsie with their dog (inset). Hamm is recovering from surgery to remove a polyp from his throat, and Westfeldt is here to costar in the Huntington Theatre Company’s production of Stephen Belber’s play “The Power of Duff,” which opens Oct. 11 at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. . . . Among the throng at Fenway that witnessed the Sox’ dramatic Game 2 win over the Tigers was Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder, whose band plays at Worcester’s DCU Center Tuesday and Wednesday. . . . Actor John Travolta was also at the game, ensconced in WEEI’s box. . . . Meanwhile, Tom Brady’s supermodel spouse, Gisele Bundchen, was at Gillette Stadium Sunday to enjoy her husband’s last-second heroics. . . . But the best place to watch Pats games is in Robert Kraft’s box, at least according to ESPN, which did a segment on its “Sunday Countdown” show about the famous folks who have watched from the Pats poobah’s perch, including Steven Tyler, Donald Trump, Ozzy Osbourne, and Jon Bon Jovi.
