Poster of ‘R.I.P.D.’ spotted in the BPD trash

Maria Cramer/Globe Staff

Someone in the Boston Police Department finally gave up on “R.I.P.D.,” the Ryan Reynolds-Jeff Bridges action movie that was filmed around Boston in 2011 and tanked at the box office in July (it had a budget of $130 million and made only $33 million domestically). This sad poster was spotted in the BPD trash this week.
