Designer Kenneth Cole, USAID Assistant Administrator Nancy Lindborg , Afghan Institute of Learning Founder Sakena Yacoobi , and UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth Ahmad Alhendawi gave speeches and were honored as role models at the fifth annual Millennium Campus Conference and Global Generation Awards at Northeastern University over the weekend. The conference, which addresses global development, drew about 1,000 student leaders and also included keynotes by acting Peace Corps Director Carrie Hessler-Radelet and Brandeis student Leila May Pascual.
