We noticed that Carter Burwell, who lived in Boston when he studied at Harvard and MIT’s Media Lab, is scoring the HBO miniseries “Olive Kitteridge,” based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning story collection of that title. Frances McDormand and Richard Jenkins have been spotted filming scenes for the project in Gloucester this week. Residents reported seeing fake snow on the streets for the shoot.
