Manchester, N.H., native Sarah Silverman had a big weekend. On Saturday, HBO aired her new comedy special, “Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles.” On Sunday, she was at the American Music Awards to present the favorite album, soul/R&B honor to Justin Timberlake. She kissed him — and then wiped the lipstick off his cheek. Introducing the category, Silverman quipped of the nominees, ‘‘One, a white kid from the ‘Mickey Mouse Club,’ one the son of the dad from ‘Growing Pains,’ and the other a strong, soulful Caribbean woman of color.” (She was referring to Timberlake, Robin Thicke, and Rihanna.)
