Aguilera uses Carly Simon’s home as studio

Any moment now, Lady Gaga will be releasing a new version of her song “Do What U Want,” featuring vocals by Christina Aguilera. So what, you say? Well, Aguilera recorded her vocals last weekend in the living room of Carly Simon’s home on Martha’s Vineyard. We’re not sure why she chose Carly’s crib, but Oak Bluffs-based producer Jimmy Parr oversaw the session, and his new studio is still under construction. On her Facebook page, Aguilera posted a picture (above) of herself singing in Simon’s house. “Working on something special... Happy Holidays to all!! XoXtina,” she wrote. A few weeks ago, Aguilera and Gaga performed the song together during the finale of “The Voice.” After the performance, Gaga tweeted, “thank you for performing with me, your heart is as big as your voice. Such a fan for so long, I can’t believe we shared the stage.”
