Comedian Lenny Clarke at Mayor Marty Walsh’s inauguration party on Monday night.

Mayor Marty Walsh’s inauguration kicked off early Monday morning, but the real party didn’t get going until after 6 p.m. The lineup for the celebration — which was set to run until midnight at the Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center — included comedians Lenny Clarke and Steve Sweeney, the Boston Pops with Ellis Hall and the Dropkick Murphys, dance by the Floorlords, and songs by teenage Boston singer-songwriter Andrea LeClaire. She told us before her performance that she’d be singing “Love on Top” by Beyoncé, “Fallin’ ” by Alicia Keys, and “America the Beautiful.” She’s too young (17) to have voted in the election, but told us that she does have a connection to the Walsh campaign. Her best friend Shae is the niece of Walsh’s partner, Laurie Higgins.
