The American Australian Association celebrated Australia Day at the Boston Harbor Hotel on Tuesday night. The party was emceed by Fox 25’s Sara Underwood and included a four-course dinner and a performance by the Harvard Krokodiloes (that’s an a cappella group). Attendees included Fran Evesson, Sindy Cole, Graham White, and Stephen Merity, who received fellowships through the American Australian Association Education Fund (that means they get up to $40,000 to pursue further research and study in Boston). Also there was former fellow Dr. Vikram Khurana, who spoke about his research.
