New Hampshire native and Manchester High West grad Seth Meyers received the “late-night pickle” from his talk-show predecessor, Jimmy Fallon, during an interview on Fallon’s show on Tuesday. The pickle, which is a set prop, has been passed from one “Late Night” host to the next for years. David Letterman gave it to Brookliner Conan O’Brien when he took over the job. O’Brien then gave it to Fallon in 2009. Meyers takes over for Fallon on Feb. 24.
