Honorary Bostonian Jennifer Garner and the cast of “Draft Day” were in New York to promote their football film during Super Bowl weekend. At a Friday press conference for the movie, Garner said that despite the fact that her film is about the Cleveland Browns, she’s a Patriots fan. Of course, the audience was not pleased. “I can take it, go ahead, boo me, I don’t care,” she responded, adding, “I like watching Tom Brady, not just because he’s handsome — I get handsome, I understand handsome — but he’s a fine leader, he’s a great quarterback and I like the team.” Garner was joined at the event by costar Denis Leary of Worcester (they are pictured above), who happens to be a Green Bay Packers fan.
