The Nantucket Film Festival announced Tuesday that it will honor Aaron Sorkin
with its Screenwriters Tribute on June 28. Sorkin (right) wrote the screenplay for the Mass.-
made movie “The Social Network.” His credits include “Moneyball,” “The West Wing,” “Sports Night,” “The Newsroom,” and the upcoming Steve Jobs
biopic based on the biography by Walter Isaacson
. Actress Emily Mortimer
, who’s on “The Newsroom,” will present Sorkin with the award. Last year’s tribute honoree was “American Hustle” and “The Fighter” writer David O. Russell
