Actresses Meghan Markle and Gina Torres, of the USA series “Suits,” stopped at Boston University on Wednesday night for a screening of the mid-season premiere and a Q&A with students. The network actually took over local campuses two nights in a row; stars Rick Hoffman and Sarah Rafferty were expected to make a similar stop at Harvard on Thursday night. “It’s amazing how much these kids have embraced the show,” said Markle, who plays Rachel Zane on the series. Markle, who was also in “Horrible Bosses,” added, “I have never been to Boston, so I’m thrilled to be here for the first time.” Upon her arrival, Markle stopped at Mooo in Beacon Hill for lunch. She said she hopes to find some low-key places before she leaves town. “I’d really like to relish in the history of the city, but I’d like to pop into a pub . . . to see the locals’ spots.”
