The John F. Kennedy Library was packed on Tuesday night with VIPs looking to congratulate Tom McNaught, executive director of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, on the end of his tenure. McNaught is leaving the post after working with the library for 17 years. Friends who celebrated his service included historian David McCullough and his wife, Rosalee; Robert F. Kennedy’s grandson Matthew Kennedy; Irish Consul General Breandán Ó Caollaí; attorney and Library board of directors Chairman Ken Feinberg, Harvard Institute of Politics Director Trey Grayson; former US Senator Paul Kirk; Judge Nancy Gertner, and Wheelock College President Jackie Jenkins-Scott. Caroline Kennedy, Vicki Kennedy, and President Barack Obama also sent letters praising McNaught that were read during the party.
