Brandon Spikes as a Patriot in 2013.

Brandon Spikes isn’t letting bygones be bygones. The former Patriots linebacker, who left the team on unhappy terms after last season and then signed a one-year, $3.25 million deal with the Buffalo Bills, tweeted “4 years a slave” Wednesday, an apparent reference to his time with the Pats. Clearly, Spikes has a problem with his former team and is looking to get some revenge next season. “It’s icing on my cake to hand the #Patriots two big [losses] this year. #justwatch,” he tweeted. “Great games on the schedule for 2014, but it’s going to be like Christmas to hand the #Patriots #PatriotsNation a L...twice!” The Patriots did not immeditately respond to a phone call Wednesday. At the end of the season, Spikes was upset about coach Bill Belichick’s decision to place him on injured reserve. Spikes claimed he could have played.
