Separately, Jay Z and Beyoncé have made a mountain of money. But you can never have enough, so the married couple is hitting the road together this summer and their tour pulls into Gillette Stadium July 1. Only one night has been announced, but we’re told that Live Nation, which is promoting the show, has reserved the 56,000 seats the next night as well. Dubbed the “On the Run” tour, the 16-city trek was announced Monday with an image of Jay Z and Beyoncé wearing ski masks. (There’s little doubt the couple will make out like bandits when it comes time to count the profits.) It’s one of several shows slated for Gillette this summer. George Strait, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw play May 31, British boy band One Direction is in Foxborough Aug. 7-9, and Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice, and Cole Swindell are there Aug. 10. Of more interest, at least to us, is the news that Blur’s Damon Albarn is stopping in Boston on his abbreviated US tour. Albarn, who’s first solo CD, “Everyday Robots,” comes out this week, will be at Royale June 9.
