It’s official: An enterprising group of Boston artists has completed the purchase of the 200,000-square-foot Midway Studios building in Fort Point. The last piece of a byzantine financial puzzle fell into place this week when the nonprofit Midway Artist Collective was approved for a multimillion-dollar HUD loan. “It’s hugely gratifying. We’ve been working on this for the last six months,” said Raber Umphenour , a member of the collective’s board of directors. “It’s a major accomplishment for Boston artists and the artists at Midway Studios.”
