Hondo hosts fundraiser on the Vineyard

Still looking spry at 74, NBA Hall of Famer John Havlicek this weekend hosted his 33d annual celebrity fishing tournament on Martha’s Vineyard to benefit The Genesis Foundation for Children. But before hitting the water, Hondo, the Celtics great who basically invented the “sixth man” role, hit the links at the Farm Neck Golf Club with Celtics coach Brad Stevens and former Sox catcher Carlton Fisk. The Genesis Foundation funds care and diagnoses for children born with physical and intellectual disabilities and genetic disorders.
