Yet another concert has been added at Fenway Park. Jack White, late of the White Stripes, will play at the ballpark Sept. 17, performing on a stage facing the bleachers a la the Dropkick Murphys a few years back. Our friends at Live Nation say White was aware of the DKM show and asked if he could arrange the stage the same way. (Big-name acts, like Billy Joel and Tom Petty, both of whom are playing at Fenway this summer, typically perform on a stage that faces away from the bleachers.) On White’s website, the venue is listed as “The Bleacher Theater at Fenway.” Only 7,500 tickets will be sold — at a cost of $64.50 each — and they go on sale June 20. Joel performs at Fenway June 26, while the Zac Brown Band sets up in center field June 27 and 28, and Petty plays
Aug. 30.
