Celebrated food writer Ruth Reichl was at Temple Emunah in Lexington the other night, chatting about food — of course — with Lumiere chef-owner Michael Leviton. The sold-out talk, hosted by the New Center for Arts & Culture, focused on food trends and also Reichl’s writing, which includes a new semi-autobiographical novel, “Delicious!” Reichl was the editor in chief of Gourmet magazine for a decade and before that was a restaurant critic for the The New York Times and Los Angeles Times.
