As Fashion Week wrapped in London, it got going closer to home on Martha’s Vineyard. As part of the island’s fashion festivities, which run through Saturday, the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center hosted a Monday-night screening of “Advanced Style,” a documentary about fashionistas who are 62 to 95 years old. The night was dedicated to Shirley Berkowitz Dworkin, the younger sister of Zelda Kaplan, who’s a subject in the film. Guests at the event included Alaina Rastelli of MV Fashion Week and Jim Cear and Roger D’Entremont of Angel Flight NE, which helps coordinate free air travel for patients in need.
