The Boston Asian American Film Festival kicked off at the Brattle Theater Thursday with a screening of “Revenge of the Green Dragons.” The crime drama, directed by Andrew Lau and Andrew Loo, was executive produced by Martin Scorsese. Lau and Scorsese have some history; Lau’s 2002 Hong Kong thriller “Infernal Affairs” became source material for Scorsese’s Oscar winner “The Departed,” which starred Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Mark Wahlberg. After the screening, the directors and cast members stuck around for a Q&A and photos.
