On the eve of the release of “Dumb and Dumber To,” Peter and Bobby Farrelly hosted a private screening in Providence of the film for Cuz of Jesse, a charity that benefits underprivileged kids around the world. Bobby Farrelly’s son, Jesse, died of a drug overdose in 2012. . . . Celebrated cellist Yo-Yo Ma was on hand to help Harvard Medical School launch a $750 million capital campaign, called “The World Is Waiting.” Also there were Partners in Health cofounder Paul Farmer and Jeffrey Flier, dean of Harvard Medical School.
