Fresh off winning the Oscar for “Glory” from the film “Selma,” John Legend performed at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Wednesday at a benefit for One Family Inc., a nonprofit aimed at ending family homelessness in the Bay State. The event, cochaired by Penelope and Dan Fireman, featured a performance by the Sons of Serendip and a guest list that included Paul and Phyllis Fireman, Paul and Ashley Bernon, former Governor Deval Patrick and wife Diane, Bruins forward Brad Marchand, Kim Jacobs, Eastern Bank CEO Robert Rivers, John Fish, chef Michael Schlow and wife Adrienne, and David Ortiz’s wife Tiffany.
