A shout-out to Drew King, the Wachusett High School grad who chased his dream of becoming a dancer all the way to New York. The other night it finally happened. King, who was accepted into a musical theater program after high school, made his Broadway debut in the musical “On the Twentieth Century,” which stars Peter Gallagher and Kristen Chenoweth. Bravo! . . . Meanwhile, Linor Abargil, the subject of the 2013 documentary “Brave Miss World,” will be at Brandeis Tuesday for a screening of the movie. In 1998, the Israeli beauty queen won the Miss World pageant just weeks after she had been raped. She has since become a global advocate in the fight against sexual violence. “Brave Miss World” was directed by Cecilia Peck, daughter of Gregory Peck.
