Independent film fest lineup announced

The Independent Film Festival Boston released its full program list Tuesday. As we mentioned last week, James Ponsoldt will appear on April 23 with his opening-night film, “The End of the Tour,” which stars Jason Segel as David Foster Wallace, and writer Jesse Andrews will appear with the Sundance hit “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl,” which closes the festival April 29. Other narrative features on the list include “Results,” which stars Guy Pearce and Cobie Smulders, directed by Boston’s own Andrew Bujalski; Patrick Brice’s “The Overnight,” which stars Wayland and West Roxbury-bred “Orange Is the New Black” star Taylor Schilling; and Daniel Barber’s “The Keeping Room,” which stars Hailee Steinfeld and Sam Worthington. Other names appearing at the festival include Laurie Kahn, who will show her doc “Love Between the Covers,” and Susan Gray, who made “Circus Without Borders” with the Globe’s Linda Matchan. The IFFB will also host the New England premiere of the late Albert Maysles’s documentary “Iris,” about style icon
Iris Apfel
