Police in New York are looking for the daughter of Donal Logue (inset), the Harvard-educated actor who plays Harvey Bullock on the Fox drama “Gotham.”
According to the New York Daily News, Logue told police that his 16-year-old daughter Jade, who is transgender and identifies as female, didn’t come home after meeting with a friend at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn Monday.
The 51-year-old actor tweeted about his daughter’s disappearance Tuesday — “Missing - yesterday at 2PM Barclays Center/Fort Greene Brooklyn: my child, Jade Logue. 6’2” 180 lime green hoodie dark green military parka” — but later deleted the tweet.
According to Heavy.com, Jade Logue came out as transgender last year, tweeting about her fear of being abused.
“Shoutout to being trans, can’t wait to be assaulted for absolutely no reason other than existing,” she tweeted.
In addition to “Gotham,” Logue is best known for his roles in the indie movie “The Tao of Steve” and the TV shows “Sons of Anarchy” and “Grounded for Life.” While studying at Harvard, Logue was a roadie for the Lemonheads and, briefly, was a member of the band that became Bullet LaVolta.
