Maria Menounos is feeling better after undergoing surgery earlier this summer to remove a brain tumor.

We know because the Medford native will be one of the 2018 Miss America judges, according to People.com, joining actress/model Molly Sims, 2014 Miss America Nina Davuluri, former “American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks, country star Thomas Rhett, and People editor Jess Cagle.

The Miss America pageant, to be cohosted by Chris Harrison and ESPN’s Sage Steele, will air live from Atlantic City Sept. 10 on ABC.

Menounos revealed in July that the brain tumor had been discovered around the time that her mother, Litsa Menounos, was battling brain cancer. Doctors were able to remove the benign tumor after a seven-hour surgery, she said.
