Rosie O’Donnell was spotted in South Boston on Wednesday.
She’s there to film “SMILF,” a showtime series starring Frankie Shaw (“Good Girls Revolt” and “Mr Robot”) about a young single mom from Southie. The show is based on Shaw’s short film of the same name.
Shaw also has a role in the local project “Stronger.” She plays Erin
Hurley’s in the movie about Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff
Bauman.
Other actors in “SMILF” include
Miguel Gomez of “The Strain” and
Samara Weaving. The show premieres Nov. 5.
