Rob Gronkowski , his father, Gordon, and two of his four brothers paid a visit Tuesday to Boston Children’s Hospital, where the Pats tight end played beanbag toss and donated $25,000. Also Tuesday, the Gronk group made similar visits — and presented similar donations — to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center in Portland and Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence. Jeffrey Sanders, COO of the Portland hospital, in conveying the center’s gratitude, said, ‘‘Gronk will always be a champion to us.’’ The money was raised through two raffles by Gronk Nation. One was for tickets to the AFC Championship Game and the other was for tickets to the Super Bowl. (AP)
