Boston Arts Academy, the city’s first — and still only — public arts high school, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend with a variety of events honoring notable alums and others, including “Jane the Virgin” star Diane Guerrero (’04), guitarist David Davidson (’04), dancer Belén Pereyra-Alem (’05), New Edition’s Michael Bivins, Boston Fashion Week founder Jay Calderin, poet Liz Kelner Pozen, artist Rick Lowe, “The Affair” actress Maura Tierney, and Mayor Marty Walsh. The weekend-long festivities at the World Trade Center Seaport Hotel wrap up Sunday with a jazz and spirituals brunch featuring student performers.
