Young Rascal is still ‘Groovin’ ’

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Felix Cavaliere of the Young Rascals was the surprise guest at the Perkins School for the Blind’s annual gala Thursday. Cavaliere rehearsed with students during the day, and then wowed the crowd at night with renditions of some of the band’s biggest hits, including “I’ve Been Lonely Too Long,’’ “A Beautiful Morning,’’ “Groovin,’’ “People Got to be Free,’’ and “Good Lovin’.’’
