Director Daniel Adams to be sentenced


Remember Daniel Adams, the director of local films who pleaded guilty to abusing the Massachusetts film tax credit by exaggerating his expenses? According to the Associated Press, he’ll be sentenced on Thursday. Adams’s most recent Mass. film, “The Light keepers,’’ was shot on Cape Cod and starred Blythe Danner and Richard Dreyfuss. The director has been ordered to pay more than $4 million back to the state.
