At long last we are to witness another world chess championship match. It will be between world champion Viswanathan Anand of India and challenger Boris Gelfand of Israel. The match will be 12 games to be held May 10-31. Anand, 42, has been the world champion since 2007, when he won a double round robin for the crown in Mexico. He has successfully defended his title against Vladimir Kramnik in 2008 and Veselin Topalov in 2010. Gelfand, 43, qualified by winning successive matches in the 2011 Candidate Matches.
