Grammer makes entrance at Methuen prom

Four months ago, Alyssa Kelley , a senior at Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen, posted a video on YouTube asking singer Andy Grammer to be her date to the prom. Well, Grammer didn’t disappoint. Friday night, the singer, whose current hit, “Keep Your Head Up,’’ is in heavy rotation on Kiss 108, showed up unannounced at the prom, singing two songs for the crowd and having a dance with Alyssa. From there, Grammer raced back to the Boston Harbor Hotel, where he performed at a private party for sponsors of Saturday’s Kiss 108 concert at the Comcast Center.
