Oh, definitely AFC Ajax in Holland. They wore red-and-white jerseys with matching red-and-white socks and white shorts.
Not many American players keep their hair long like you do. Have you always?
No, it used to be short. A lot of Spanish and Italian players have long hair, but I started growing mine out recently, in the past year, when I was playing in Vietnam, where everyone has short hair. I wanted to look different.
What’s your style like off the field?
For going out in Boston, I wear skinny jeans, high-tops, and a V-neck as well as cardigans, scarves, and hats. — A.G.
