Drawing attention

ANTIQUE SLEIGH RALLY Maybe you’ll feel like singing “Jingle Bells” at this event featuring horse-drawn sleighs dashing through the snow. The vintage sleighs will be pulled by breeds including Haflinger, Gypsy, Morgan, Arabian, Clydesdale, Percheron, and miniature horses. Besides watching the sleigh competition, you can ice skate (BYO skates), take a sleigh ride around the Common, and try out an 1830s-style sled. Indoors, see presentations by museum historians, do arts and crafts, and warm up by a cozy fireplace. Feb. 2, rally at 11 a.m., free with admission. Outdoor events weather permitting.
