The Golden Globes set the stage for Hollywood glamour. The Oscars represent the pinnacle of red carpet royalty. So what then to make of the Screen Actors Guild Awards? The ceremony is easily overshadowed by its more popular and better known siblings. Making matters worse is the depressing acronym — SAG does not bring to mind fun and fashion. The fact that it doesn’t air on a major network makes matters even worse. SAG is strictly basic cable (and that, my friends, is perhaps the saddest sentence I’ve typed all week). But its underdog status results in some fun and downright risky fashion extremes. As a result, SAG offers up one of the best nights of award show fashion. The good, the bad, and the lazy.
