Deborah Z Porter Age 55 Occupation Founder and Executive Director of Boston Book Festival Residence Cambridge Can you size up people’s reading tastes by what they’re wearing? You probably can, but with the people I know — academics — what they read is a lot more radical than the way they look. Describe your everyday style. Tailored, but I like to throw in something quirky, maybe an interesting shoe or a cobalt or red accent. What about a memorable dress outfit? I wore a red Mary Katrantzou dress with a typewriter keyboard printed on it to last year’s Boston Book Festival kickoff cocktail party. I saw it at Riccardi and had to have it. If you could costume a literary character, who would it be? I’d dress everyone in Leaving the Atocha Station like they stepped out of The Sartorialist blog.  — Marni Elyse Katz
