What did you wear for your audition for Moonrise Kingdom?

I just came in a pair of leggings, Uggs, and a sweater.

I heard you did your own makeup for the film.

I did.

And do you still wear a lot of blue eye shadow?

Not much. But sometimes I will put on a little. I can’t help it, I love it.

You're still in school in Andover?

I’m still going to school in the same place.

How has your life changed day to day? Do you ever get recognized?

Sometimes. I was in the mall the other day, and someone came up to me in a store and said, “Are you that girl?”

And you just finished another movie.

It’s called The Sisterhood of Night. It’s with [actress] Georgie Henley of The Chronicles of Narnia and Kal Penn from the Harold & Kumar films, and it was so much fun. In July, I’ve got The Optimist, directed by Jerry Levine.

How are you balancing school and your acting career?

I do have to miss a little bit of school, but as long as I get back and catch up, it’s all fine.

Do you have any favorite academic subjects?

English, definitely English. I love to write.

What do you like to wear?

I’m pretty casual, but I’m starting to obsess a little bit, like one of my favorite things to do is to pair really feminine accessories with edgier outfits or vice versa. I’m starting to find my own style.  —  Rachel Raczka
