Southie’s Ku De Ta expands to Chestnut Hill

Southie boutique heads to the ’burbs

Dan Watkins

Indie boutique Ku De Ta, which hit South Boston eight years ago, expands to Chestnut Hill on Monday at The Street. Nestled between Jonathan Adler and skincare haven Skoah, the 800-square-foot space has a flirty vibe, with tufted pink walls and floral branch light fixtures. Founder Nicole Cronin and buyer Heather O’Connell have stocked the shop with accessibly priced and midrange pieces, like this silk crepe strapless dress with tribal-inspired print, perfect for summer weekends. “Ginger” print dress by Charlie Jade, $168 at Ku De Ta at The Street, 33 Boylston St., Chestnut Hill, 617-383-5095, www.kudetaboston.com
