Boston tour sets the stage for movie fans

Boston even has its own movie tour, The Boston Movie Mile. Curiosity piqued by our movie shoot sighting, we signed up for the 90-minute walking tour. (The same company also offers a three-hour bus tour.) Since Massachusetts began offering tax incentives to movie makers in 2006, 200-plus movies and TV shows have been shot here, [cq] according to our tour guide, Javier Marin. These include acclaimed films like “The Fighter,’’ and “The Departed,’’ and stinkers like “My Best Friend’s Girl.’’
