The hotel opened in July in a former nursing home that was renovated and expanded to create a 39-room property in the clean modern style that is almost de rigeur for new lodgings. The taupes and browns of the lobby lounge, which contrast with the color-stripe rug, set the tone: cool, with a hint of whimsy. Rooms, ranging from cozy doubles to king suites, are outfitted with dark wood furniture and a taupe-brown-green palette that brings the outdoors in. Suites 309 and 409 have the best park views and feature two bedrooms and two complete baths. All rooms have a good work desk, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, refrigerator, coffeemaker, and microwave.
